Special Activities Unit

Mission & Mandate
The SAU’s core mandate includes, but is not limited to:
-
Covert Counterintelligence Operations
Detection, infiltration, and disruption of espionage cells, insider threats, and information breaches. -
Direct-Action Response Missions
High-risk raids, HVT interdiction, precision strikes, and hostage recovery in both foreign and domestic threat environments. -
Tactical Escalation Management
Rapid resolution of compromised AIA zones, security breaches, and command-targeted disruptions. -
Joint-Intelligence Fusion Operations
Real-time intelligence integration with immediate tactical execution under zero-delay doctrine.
Axios Intelligence Agency (AIA) – Tier-0 Element
The Special Activities Unit (SAU) serves as a precision-engineered, hybrid element within the Axios Intelligence Agency (AIA), operating at the highest echelon of covert capability. It is a joint-force structure that fuses the strategic depth of Counterintelligence Agents (35L) with the direct-action effectiveness of the Tactical Reaction Team (TRT).
Comprised of three elite 35L operatives working in unison with a ten-member TRT assault element, the SAU is uniquely positioned to execute high-risk missions at the intersection of intelligence, kinetic operations, and internal security. This integrated configuration allows for seamless coordination between target acquisition, threat interdiction, and escalation control—eliminating latency between information gathering and execution.

Structure & Command
The SAU operates under joint command authority, with strategic oversight split between AIA’s Counterintelligence Directorate and Tactical Operations Division. The unit falls under direct reporting protocols to the Director of Special Operations and maintains full deployment autonomy under Executive Authorization.
-
Counterintel Detachment (3x 35L): Surveillance, threat identification, and internal reconnaissance.
-
Tactical Reaction Detachment (10x TRT): Entry, breach, direct neutralization, and perimeter control.
This dual-threaded configuration allows the SAU to engage both covertly and kinetically, adjusting seamlessly to mission parameters ranging from embedded surveillance to high-exposure offensive action.
Operational Doctrine
SAU deployments are governed by zero-tolerance protocols, high-impact engagement rules, and near-surgical precision. The unit is frequently utilized for:
-
Silent Terminations & Internal Sanitization Ops
-
Black Recon & Forward Contingency Execution
-
Deniable Action Missions in geopolitically sensitive theaters
-
Internal Threat Response without broader AIA awareness
The SAU functions as the Black Operations Wing of the AIA, executing missions that demand absolute discretion, total compartmentalization, and non-attribution capability.

Unit Motto:
"Reinforcements Denied? No Problem."
Compact. Lethal. Autonomous. The SAU is not a reactionary force—it is the proactive weapon of choice when the AIA faces threats too volatile, too sensitive, or too internal for conventional response.
